The following Sedalia Police crime reports are from the afternoon of Nov. 25, 2013.

Stover man arrested on four failure to appear warrants

At 7:37 Sunday night, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle for failing to signal a turn and having no license plate light. A computer check on the occupants of the vehicle revealed a passenger, 32-year-old Troydean Walker of Stover, was found to have four failure to appear warrants out of Pettis County. At the time of the police report, Walker was being held in the Pettis County Jail pending a total of $607,000 in bonds.

Traffic stop results in arrest for two Sedalia suspects

Just before 6:30 Saturday night, Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at 3rd and Prospect for not signaling a turn. Following an investigation, officers arrested 58-year-old Les Holt of Sedalia for failure to signal a turn, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A passenger identified as 23-year-old Crystal Thomas of Sedalia was arrested for identification theft and a probation violation warrant out of Pettis County. Both suspects were taken to the Pettis County Jail and placed on 24-hour hold pending formal charges.

Sedalia man faces multiple charges after a traffic stop

Just after 10:00 Friday night, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at Booneville and Emmitt for improper registration and defective tail lights. The police report states 33-year-old Jeremy Bush of Sedalia was arrested, transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on 24-hour hold pending charges of improper registration, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Assault investigation Saturday morning results in arrest for a 43-year-old suspect

At 11:40 Saturday morning, Sedalia police were dispatched to the 2300 block of North Woodlawn Drive on an assault complaint. Upon arrival, a female victim waved the officers down and reported her boyfriend had assaulted her. The police report states the suspect, 43-year-old Michael Brassfield of Sedalia, was located and arrested. The report also states Brassfield was found to have an active probation violation warrant. At the time of the police report, Brassfield was in the Pettis County Jail pending formal charges.

Sedalia man arrested on a Sedalia Municipal and a Pettis County Warrant Saturday

Around 8:00 Sunday morning, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at Pettis and Washington with a suspect known to be suspended, and having two warrants. Following confirmation of the warrants, 37-year-old Sherwin Marshall of Sedalia was arrested and taken to the Pettis County jail pending a court date for driving while suspended and $258.50 bond on the warrants.

Casey’s General Store at 3050 South Limit reported a $20.03 gas drive off.

A victim on East 12th reported items stolen from his home Friday. There are no suspects.
