Sedalia man arrested on warrants Tuesday afternoon

At 3:15 Tuesday afternoon, Sedalia police arrested 37-year-old Shane Kreisel of Sedalia on two active warrants. The police report states Kreisel was arrested at his residence in the 400 block of West Main following confirmation of a municipal warrant out of Sedalia for failure to appear and a warrant from the Foristell Police Department for failure to appear. At the time of the police report, Kreisel was in the Pettis County Jail pending a total of $258.50 cash only bonds.

Woman in the area of 32nd and Kentucky reports kids hitting her dog

Around 3:00 Monday afternoon, Sedalia police received a call concerning kids yelling at a woman in the area of 32nd and Kentucky. Upon arrival, the woman told officers kids had struck her dog that was chained up in her yard with a broom. The suspects had not been contacted at news time.

Woman and a girl steal plants from a West 16th residence

At 3:45 Tuesday afternoon, a victim in the 1500 block of West 16th reported the theft of plants. According to witnesses, a Silver vehicle (possibly a Cadillac) pulled up next to the house, and a girl with long blond hair, white, pants and glasses, along with a 30 to 40-year old-female described as "scruffy, heavy set, with brown hair" stole three plants that were next to the house. There were no suspects at news time.

Two-bicycles were reported stolen from the back yard of a home in the 1900 block of East Broadway on Tuesday afternoon. There were no suspects at the time of the police report.
