Dead coyote put on Sedalia man’s porch
At 2:16 Tuesday afternoon, Sedalia police investigated a reported harassment in the 1600 block of West 16th. According to the male victim, someone placed a dead coyote in a box on his porch with a name written on the box. There were no suspects.
Thieves steal a man’s belongings while he is in jail
Around 10:30 Tuesday morning, a victim in the 400 block of East 7th reported the theft of all his belongings from his apartment while he was incarcerated. There was no information on possible suspects.
Between $800 and $1000 worth of power tools stolen from a Sedalia residence Tuesday morning
At 9:10 Tuesday morning, Sedalia police investigated a burglary complaint at a residence in 400 block of North Ohio. Upon contact with the victim, he told officers that someone broke into his home sometime overnight by forcing the back door open. He also said the thief or thieves got away with between $800 and $1,000 worth of power tools. There were no suspects at news time.
