Here are your Sedalia Police Crime Reports for the afternoon of Oct. 30, 2012.

17-year-old male subject taken into protective custody in the 1800 block of South Park

At 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon, Sedalia police were dispatched to a residence in the 1800 block of South Park for a subject out of control having a drug reaction. Upon arrival, officers found two subjects holding a 17-year-old male subject down. The 17-year-old was taken into protective custody until the subject's family could get a judge to commit him into a treatment facility. The police report states several empty K2/K3 packages, along with two pipes used to smoke marijuana were found in the 17-year-old’s possession.

Sedalia man arrested in the bathroom of Walmart on stealing charge

At 1:26 Monday afternoon, Sedalia police were dispatched to the Walmart store on a stealing complaint. Upon arrival, officers were taken to the restroom area, where they reportedly heard a man inside unwrapping a package. The police report states when they made contact with the suspect in the restroom he had an open package in his possession. Arrested in the incident was 37-year-old Scott Vansell of Sedalia. At the time of the police report, Vansell was on 24-hour hold pending action from the prosecutor’s office. Value of the items involved in the theft was $252.73.

Woman arrested during a warrant check

Just before 8:00 Sunday night, Sedalia police conducted a warrant check in the 700 block of East 9th. Upon contact with the suspect, Angela Teeter of Sedalia, she was found to have warrants for peace disturbance and expired registration. Bond was set at $250 cash only.

Two Sedalia women arrested on failure to appear warrants

Sunday night, Sedalia police arrested 25-year-old Brennah Bower at the Pettis County Jail on a failure to appear warrant. Bond was set at $150 cash only.

At 6:41 Monday morning, Sedalia police arrested 22-year-old Amber Wilson of Sedalia on a failure to appear warrant in the 1600 block of South Missouri.
