The following Sedalia Police crime reports are from the afternoon of Sept. 19, 2013.

Traffic stop nets a suspended driver on Wednesday night

At 7:23 Wednesday night, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at Broadway and Sunset Drive with a suspended driver. James Billingsly, 24, of Sedalia, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County jail where he was booked and released with a court date.

Two lawnmowers stolen from a man on East 2nd St.

Just after 3:00 Wednesday afternoon, Sedalia police took a theft complaint from a victim in the 300 block of East 2nd. The victim told officers that someone took two lawnmowers from his property with a combined value of $130 sometime overnight. There were no suspects at the time of the police report.
