26-year-old Miller Missouri woman arrested for driving while suspended  Saturday night

At 10:44 Saturday night Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at New York and Chestnut for no license plate light. A check through dispatch revealed the driver, 26-year-old Jennifer Savick of Miller Missouri was a suspended driver. Savick was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, where she was booked and released with a court date.

Burglary complaint filed by a female victim late Saturday night

Around Midnight Saturday night Sedalia police investigated a burglary complaint in the 100 block of Summer Ave. The female victim told officers someone had entered her home, and stole several unspecified items. There was no information on possible suspects in the police reports.

14-year-old victim reports her cell phone was stolen at the Liberty Park Pool

On Friday Sedalia police responded to the Liberty Park Pool to investigated a theft. Upon arrival a 14-year-old female victim told them someone had stolen her cell phone while she was at the pool. There were no suspects at the time of the police report.

Motorcycle reported stolen from a back yard in the 1800 block of South Park

Friday morning the Sedalia police department received a theft complaint from a resident in the 1800 block of South Park. According to the complainant a motorcycle was stolen from her backyard. There was no other information in that police report.

Dollar General on South Limit reports being hit by petty thieves

At 1:30 Friday afternoon Sedalia police investigated thefts from the Dollar General at 2003 South Limit. According to the store manager two suspects opened a carton of coke, and drank two of them at the rear of the store. The thieves then stole two packages of plastic bracelets and left without paying fo the items. Total value of the thefts was placed at $4.24.

Fireworks set off at a Westside residence Saturday night

Just before 11 o'clock Saturday night the Sedalia police investigated a report of fireworks being shot off in the 2200 block of West 1st. The police report states the officers located the place where the fireworks were shot, but no suspects were found in the area.

Two-year-old Warsaw child suffers serious injury in a Benton County ATV accident Saturday

At 5:10 Saturday evening the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an ATV accident, that happened on Salley Drive one-mile South of Peppertree Street in Benton County. The accident occurred as the 1985 Honda ATV driven by 32-year-old Robert Krol of Warsaw left the roadway, and struck a tree ejecting Kroll, and a passenger 2-year-old Hailey Loyd also of Warsaw. Kroll received minor ibnjuries and refused treatment at the scene, while 2-year-old Loyd was seriously injured, and was taken by Air Ambulance to University of Columbia Medical Center for treatment. Charges are pending in that accident.

Pettis County accident injures two Thursday afternoon

Just before 5 o'clock Thursday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and the Pettis County Sheriff's Department reported a two-vehicle accident on Missouri 127, and Route "Y" in Pettis County. The accident reportedly happened as a 2010 Chevrolet Impala, driven by 21-year-old Jennifer Regmer of Smithton pulled into the path of a 2011 Toyota Camry driven by William Walton of Greenridge. The accident report states Walton attempted unsuccessfully to avoid a collision, but struck the Regmer vehicle in the front left side, causing extensive damage to the Regmer vehicle, while his vehicle suffered moderate damage. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Both drivers received minor injuries in the accident. Regmer was taken by private vehicle to Bothwell Hospital for treatment, while Walton decided to seek his own treatment. The accident report states charges are pending.

Moderate injuries suffered by a 15-year-old Napoleon Missouri driver of a John Deere Gator

Just before noon Friday the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on Pleasant Prairie4 Road North of Dorie Neer Road in Lafayette County. The accident occurred as 15-year-old Jared Michael, of Napoleon Mo. pulled his John Deere Gator out of a driveway, and into the path of a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer, driven by 31-year-old Erin Dieckmann of Levasy Mo., causing the vehicle to impact the Gator totalling it, and extensively damaging the Trailblazer. Michael received moderate injuries, and was taken to Centerpoint Hospital for treatment.

Benton County Accident injures two Clinton residents

Around 12:30 Friday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle injury accident on Missouri "7" at Mile Long Bridge in Benton County. The accident occurred as a 1999 Plymouth driven by 56-year-old Daniel Porterfield of Clinton was stopped in traffic due to construction, when the 2003 Ford F150 driven by 29-year-old Justin Riga of Warsaw overtook, and struck it in the rear. Porterfield, and his passenger 59-year-old Joan Rogers of Clinton received minor injuries, and were transportyed by ambulance to Golden Vaqlley Hospital for treatment.
