The following Sedalia Police crime reports and Missouri State Highway Patrol accident reports are from the afternoon of Jan. 28, 2014.

Theft Complaints filed on Monday

At 9:27 Monday morning, Sedalia Police were dispatched to the E Street Bar at 1201 East 3rd on a theft report. Upon arrival, the male victim told officers he had heard a noise behind the business, and when he went to look, he saw a beat up black Ford leaving the property with four cattle panels in the truck that were taken without his permission. The police report states a suspect has been identified and the case has been turned over to the Municipal Court Prosecutor for review and possible charges.

Around 1:40 Monday afternoon, Sedalia Police investigated a theft in the 3200 block of West Broadway. Upon contact with the victim, he reported the passenger side window of his vehicle was broken out while he was in a store and several items were stolen from the vehicle. There was no information on possible suspects.

Accident Reported in Saline County

At 4:40 Monday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident that occurred on US-65 Highway just north of County Road 165 in Saline County. The accident reportedly happened as a 1996 Lincoln driven by 22-year-old Jordan Williams of Carrollton, overtook and struck the 1994 Ford driven by 30-year-old Trista Johnson of Marshall in the rear. Williams and Johnson both suffered moderate injuries in the crash, while two children, ages 10 and five in the Johnson vehicle, received minor injuries.  All four victims were taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment by Saline County EMS.
