The following Sedalia Police crime reports and Missouri State Highway Patrol accident reports are from the afternoon of Thursday, March 13, 2014.

Burglary reported on West Broadway Wednesday night

Around 8:30 Wednesday night, Sedalia Police took a burglary complaint from a victim in the 1400 block of West Broadway. According to the victim, someone entered his residence and stole a laptop computer and watch, valued collectively at $990. There were no suspects at the time of the police report, but an investigation is ongoing.

Johnson County accident Wednesday afternoon injures a Centerview teen

At 3:45 Wednesday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on US-50 Highway at Missouri Highway 58 in Johnson County. The accident reportedly occurred as the 2003 Chevrolet driven by 19-year-old Gabriel Christopher of Centerview pulled into the path of a 2001 International 9200 traveling on Highway 50, causing the International to strike the Chevrolet. The accident report states the Chevrolet came to rest in the median and the International came to rest on the shoulder. Christopher suffered minor injuries and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.
