The following Sedalia Police crime reports and Missouri State Highway Patrol accident reports are from the afternoon of Friday, May 28, 2014.

Female victim files a harassment complaint Wednesday morning

At 10 a.m. Wednesday morning, Sedalia Police took a harassment complaint from a female victim in the 700 block of East 17th. The victim told officers a suspect known to her left the harassing message on her voicemail. She also stated she feared she could be harmed by the suspect. There was no other information in the police report.

Warrensburg woman injured in a Johnson County accident Thursday morning

Just before 9 a.m. Thursday morning, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on Missouri Highway 13 at East Division Road in Johnson County. The accident reportedly occurred as the 2007 Pontiac driven by 70-year-old Alice Beauchamp of Warrensburg failed to yield to a 2000 Pontiac driven by 28-year-old Steven Embry also of Warrensburg at an intersection. The Embry vehicle struck the Beauchamp vehicle in the rear passenger side, causing moderate damage to both vehicles. Beauchamp suffered minor injuries in the crash and initially refused treatment at the scene, but was then taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by private vehicle for treatment.
