Police assist in removing children from a west side home
At 6:23 Thursday evening, Sedalia police officers assisted the Children’s Division on the removal of children from a home in the 600 block of West 5th. There was no other information contained in the police report.
$15 dollar gas drive off reported Thursday night
Around 11:30 Thursday night, the Break Time Convenience Store at 318 West Broadway reported the driver of a dark brown Crown Victoria Ford pumped $15 worth of gas and drove off without paying. There were no suspects at news time.
21-year-old Lexington man injured in a Lafayette County accident Thursday night
At 9:30 Thursday night, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on Highway 24 at Howe Road in Lafayette County. The accident reportedly occurred as a driver of a 1995 Oldsmobile, 21-year-old Jason Cline of Lexington, was exceeding the posted speed limit and ran into the back of a 2003 Hyundai driven by 40-year-old William Hughes of Wellington. Cline was not wearing a seat belt, and received moderate injuries in the crash. He was transported to Centerpoint Hospital by EMS for treatment.
