Here are your Sedalia Police crime reports and Missouri State Highway Patrol accident reports for the morning of Dec. 13, 2012.

19-year-old Lamont man arrested Wednesday night on multiple charges

At 10:14 Wednesday night, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at Broadway and State Fair Blvd. for non-functioning license plate light. Upon contact with the driver, the officer reportedly smelled the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A subsequent search revealed the driver, 19-year-old Garcia Gerardo of Lamont, was in possession of marijuana. At the time of the police report Gerardo was on 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail pending formal charges for possession of marijuana and possession with the intent to distribute.

Truck stolen from a Sedalia man in the 2200 block of South Ohio

Around 8:00 Wednesday night, a victim in the 2200 block of South Ohio filed a theft complaint with the Sedalia Police Department. According to the victim, someone stole his 1990 Ford F250 extended cab, long bed truck sometime earlier in the day. There were no suspects at news time.

Saline County ATV accident results in serious injuries for an Armstrong man

At 12:30 Wednesday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle, injury accident in the 31000 block of 260th road in Saline County. The accident occurred as a 2004 Honda ATV traveled up an incline and overturned onto the driver, 26-year-old Christopher Gebhardt of Armstrong, Mo. Gebhardt received serious injuries and was flown to University Hospital for treatment. The report states the Marshall Police Department assisted at the scene.
