Here are your Sedalia Police crime reports and Missouri State Highway Patrol accident reports for September 6, 2012.

 

Sedalia man reports a theft from a known suspect

Just before 1:00 Wednesday afternoon, Sedalia police investigated a theft complaint from a victim in the 400 block of East 6th. According to the victim, two men were at his home and when they left there was $230 worth of items missing. The police report states the identity of a suspect was provided to the police by the victim.

 

Intoxicated man taken into protective custody at Liberty Park

At 2:45 Wednesday afternoon, Sedalia police saw a man lying on the ground near the Liberty Park lagoon.  The police report states after attempting to rouse the man, the officer called APSI to determine his condition. APSI determined that 56-year-old James Snorgrass of Sedalia was intoxicated. Snorgrass was taken into protective custody pending sobriety.

 

Local Auto Dealer reports the theft of fuel from a truck on their lot

Around 11:00 Wednesday morning, Wes Mo Auto Sales, located at 3117 South Limit, reported the theft of fuel to the Sedalia police. According to the victim, someone stole approximately $60 worth of fuel from a truck parked on her lot. At the time of the police report there were no suspects.

 

Kansas man injured in a rollover accident in Saline County

At 10:37 Wednesday morning, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident at mile marker 69.2 on Eastbound I-70 in Saline County. The accident occurred as the 2007 Honda Civic driven by 48-year-old Samuel Baez of Wichita, Kansas ran off the side of the roadway and overturned several times before coming to rest. Baez received moderate injuries, and was taken by Sweet Springs EMS and Air Evac to Centerpoint Hospital for treatment.

 

Overland Park Kansas man suffers minor injuries in a Johnson County accident Wednesday

Just before 8:30 Wednesday morning, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, assisted by the Holden Police, reported an injury accident on Missouri Highway “58” at Southwest “1501”. The accident reportedly happened as the 1997 Ford driven by 53-year-old William Baum of Overland Park Kansas traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.  Baum suffered minor injuries, and was taken to research Hospital, by Johnson County EMS for treatment.
