Here is your Sedalia Police crime report for August 5, 2012.

Vehicle check nets man in possession of narcotics Thursday night

At 9:07 Thursday night Sedalia police conducted a check on a vehicle parked in the 800 block of East 10th. The police report states the driver, 28-year-old Andrew Michael of Sedalia, was found to be revoked. A subsequent search revealed Michael was also in possession of methamphetamine in individual packages.  At the time of the police report, he was on 24-hour hold at the Pettis County jail pending charges of driving while revoked, possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Harassment complaint results in charges for a Sedalia man

At 6:44 Friday evening Sedalia police investigated a harassment complaint from a 31-year-old female victim in the 1600 block of Honeysuckle Drive. Arrested in the incident was 30-year-old Jonathon Prewitt of Sedalia. At the time of the police report, Prewitt was on 24-hour hold pending formal charges of violation of a full order of protection, plus a $2500 bond.

 

Vehicle damage result of tampering incident at McDonalds

Around 11:15 Friday night, Sedalia police investigated a case of vehicle tampering. According to the 17-year-old female victim, someone loosened the lug nuts on her vehicle while she was at work at McDonald's on South Limit, which caused a front tire to come off, and damage the fender. The police report states a surveillance video shows two subjects around her vehicle. An investigation is ongoing.

 

Thieves target a vehicle in the 600 block of East 11th

A female victim in the 600 block of East 11th filed a theft complaint with the Sedalia police department at 2:41 Saturday morning. The victim told officers someone broke the rear passenger side window of her vehicle sometime overnight and stole her wallet containing $700 in cash. There are no suspects.

 

Sedalia woman arrested Friday evening on a failure to appear warrant

At 5:46 Friday evening, Sedalia police arrested 46-year-old Colleen Long of Sedalia on a failure to appear warrant. Long was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a $1500 bond.

Saturday night, Sedalia police arrested 30-year-old Jennifer Harris of Sedalia on charges of assault and resisting arrest. At the time of the police report, she was being held in the Pettis County Jail pending
$1063 bond.

During a traffic stop early this morning, Sedalia police arrested 30-year-old Santos Pedro Ramos of Sedalia on a charge of driving while revoked. Bond is set at $531.50.

At 7:46 Thursday night, 23-year-old Quinton Brown was arrested for driving while revoked. At the time of the police report, Brown was being held in the Pettis County Jail pending a $250 cash only bond.

21-year-old Christian Jones of Sedalia was arrested at 8 o’clock Friday night on a charge of driving while revoked. Jones was taken to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked and released with a court date.
