Sedalia Police reports 8-26-16

On Thursday at 6th and Grand, Sherrell Alexandria Peck, 35, Sedalia, was arrested after a traffic stop for defective license plates lights. She was charged with Driving Without a License and transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released with a court date of Sept. 5.

Sedalia Police arrested Charity Shyayne Marie Card, 20, Sedalia, after officers responded to a report of trespassing. She was located on a neighbor's porch. It was discovered that Card was wanted on a Clay County warrant for probation violation. She was was transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Alexander Scott Hoose, 24, Ottervile, was arrested by Sedalia Police after officers observed him riving erratically in the area of 16th and New York. He was later pulled over at Woods Express, 703 E. Broadway, when he stopped to buy gas. He was charged with Driving While Revoked, transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released.

Kelly Rae Powen, 52, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended after Sedalia Police stopped her for no tail lights. Powen was booked and released at the Pettis County Jail.

Joshua R. Brust, 24, Sedalia, was arrested at 24th and Ohio after a traffic stop. The officers noticed a strong odor or marijuana coming from the vehicle, and a marijuana pipe was visible on the console. Brust was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.
