Sedalia Police reports 8-4-16

Sedalia Police arrested Aaron R. Dove, 21, Green Ridge, after a traffic stop at 2424 S. Limit Tuesday. Officers responded to a report of a subject slumped over in his car around 7:30 p.m. A subsequent search revealed Dove was in possession of controlled medications for which he did not have a prescription, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Dove was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending state charges.

Ashley M. Maupins-Deml, 29, Liberty, was arrested at Missouri and Wilkerson Wednesday evening following a traffic stop. She was wanted on a Pettis County warrant for Failure to Appear-misdemeanor. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $351 bond cash only, with a court date to be announced.

Jeremy Robert Mullins, 28, Cole Camp, was arrested for Driving While Revoked at 10th and Hancock on Tuesday afternoon after a traffic stop. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released.

Angela Ilene Teeter, 37, Sedalia, was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of other dangerous non-narcotic drugs after a traffic stop on a black VW beetle at 16th and Marvin at 2:48 a.m, on July 31. A probable cause search led to the discovery of the items. She was then transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Joe Fernandez, Jr., was arrested Monday evening in the 1200 block of S. Moniteau for violation of an ex parte, resisting arrest and a Pettis County warrant for original charges of 2nd degree Robbery, 2nd degree Domestic Assault and False Imprisonment. He reportedly came to the victim's residence and created a disturbance with family members.

Nichole M. Williams, 18, was arrested for possession of intoxicating liquor (vodka) by a minor after police responded to a disturbance at New Haven Group, 1506 W. Broadway, late Monday night. Williams was transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Cork 'n Bottle, 3806 E. Broadway, reported on Monday afternoon that a customer pumped gas, then proceeded to empty their entire load from their truck bed into Cork n' Bottle's dumpster. Video surveillance produced leads in the case. The suspect reportedly live outside the city limits.

Menard's, 4400 Wisconsin Ave., reported the theft of $383.98 in merchandise on Tuesday afternoon. Investigation continues.

A wallet that was found at 17th and Washington and turned into police was returned to its owner on Wednesday evening.
