Sedalia Police reports 8-9-16

Sedalia Police arrested Crystal S. Watts, 34, Warsaw, for stealing at 120 E. 16th, on Wednesday evening. According to the report, management observed her place something in her bag and tried to leave without paying, but was contacted by management at the door and recovered the item, which turned out to be a Freestone Dill Pickle, valued at $1.57. She was released with a court summons for Sept. 7.

Jeremiah Leon Davidson, 35, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended after a traffic stop for a minor violation Wednesday night. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail. He was issued a citation and a court date of Sept. 14.

Police took a property damage report in the 900 block of W. 4th on Wednesday afternoon. Someone damaged several windows and doors to a garage on rental property the victim owns, the report said. There are no suspects.

Police took a theft report on Wednesday in the 1600 block of Heck Ave. Someone entered the victim's residence and stole several items, collectively valued at $648. There are no suspects.

Police took a theft report in the 2400 block of Southwest Boulevard on Wednesday. Taken from the car port was a Stihl weedeater, valued at $200.

Police took a theft report in the 2600 block of Southwest Boulevard Wednesday. Taken were a weedeater and a leaf blower from a vehicle parked at the residence.

Police took a theft report in the 1000 block of South Merriam on Wednesday. Taken from the back porch was a bicycle, valued at $400.

Police took a burglary report in the 900 block of E. 7th on Wednesday morning. Taken were several tools.

Police took a theft report in the 1100 block of E. 10th on Wednesday. Taken around 11 a.m. was a bicycle from the front yard, valued at $100.

Police took a report of a found bike in the 300 block of E. 5th on Wednesday. A 20-inch Next bike was placed into the bike shed.

A man reported his wallet missing on Wednesday after he left it and his keys laying on a table in the workout area of a gym located in the 1400 block of S. Limit. When he returned, his wallet, containing $200, three credit cards and his driver's license, was gone. The report noted that the victim failed to use a locker that is provided at the gym.
