Sedalia Police crime reports 8-13-17

Erik Aguirre-Trujillo, 20, Marshall, was taken into custody after Sedalia Police received a call about an intoxicated man in a parking lot at 1722 W. Broadway who was messing with customers and checking vehicles. The officer noted thath the suspect was apparently intoxicated to the point he could no longer take care of himself. Aguiree-Trujillo was taken to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Rush Hour, 1320 South Limit, reported a $26.13 gas drive-off at 12:31 p.m. Friday.


 

Taunya L. Williams reported the theft of two pair of shoes, valued at $130, from her car while parked at 3201 W. Broadway at around 4:30 p.m. Friday. There are no suspects.


 

Saturday at 12:54 a.m., Sherrell Alexandria Peck, Sedalia, reported that three windows on her residence were broken. Causing $450 of damage. There is a known suspect and Municipal charges were submitted to the prosecutor.


 

On Saturday morning, a social work from Children's Mecy Hospital in Kansas City replayed information to the SPD about a sex crime that occurred on the Missouri State Fairgrounds. Evidence was gathered in the case.


 

On Saturday night, the owner of “Something For Everyone” thrift store, 206 W. Main, reported that someone stole several trays of jewelry, valued at $1,126 from the jewelry counter sometime around Aug. 1 while an employee was not present.
