Sedalia Police reports 8-17-16

Sedalia Police arrested Zachary S. McGuire, homeless, Tuesday afternoon in the 300 block of Curry Drive. He was charged with Failure to Appear-Felony, Failure to Appear-Misdemeanor and possession of marijuana. His bond was set at $12,500, cash or surety.

Anthony Dwane Driskell, 45, was arrested for possession of a synthetic drug after a disturbance was reported east of Caseys, 1601 E. Broadway, Tuesday. A consent to search led to the discovery of .3 grams of a white, crystallized substance that later tested positive for meth. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Police arrested Sherwin D. Marshall, 40, for Failure to Appear-Felony on Tuesday. He was wanted an an active Pettis County warrant. His bond was set at $25,000.

Julia A. Lefevers, 42, was arrested in the 1400 block of S. Moniteau Tuesday. She was wanted on an active probation violation warrant and was transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Police took a report of an employee using a company credit card to purchase over $600 of merchandise online on Tuesday morning in the 300 block of W. Broadway. The employee denied any involvement.

A driver reported a hit-and-run accident that occurred in the southbound lanes 16th and Limit Monday afternoon. The victim said the suspect originally agreed to pull into a nearby parking lot, but ended up fleeing the scene and not providing any information to the victim. The suspect vehicle was an SUV with three occupants, the report said.

Casey's General Store, 1909 W. Main, reported that someone passed counterfeit $20 bills to purchase items at the store on Monday at 9:50 p.m. There are two suspects in the case at the time of the report.

Police took a property damage report in the 400 block of North Veterans Memorial Drive on Monday. There are allegedly three juveniles involved in the case, who caused $350 in damage.

Police took a report of a stolen motorcycle from the 1300 block of E. 14th on Monday. The victim said it was a black 2016 Harley-Davidson 883 Sportster with chrome front forks.

Police took a burglary report in the 600 block of W. 4th Monday afternoon. Someone kicked the back door in and took $1200 in cash, an I-Pad and various crackers and snacks, the report said.

Police took a report of a stolen phone that was taken in the 2200 block of S. Ingram on Tuesday. There are no suspects.

Police took a report of vehicle damage on Monday. The incident occurred near 6th and Kentucky, causing $100 of damage. There are no suspects.

Police took a stolen bike report on Monday in the 1300 block of S. Kentucky. The bike was taken from the backyard over night. There are no suspects.

Police took a report of a lawnmower, valued at $50, stolen from a garage in the 1200 block of S. Moniteau. Also taken were 60 oxycodone pills from inside the residence. There are no suspects.

Police took a theft report of a 32-inch flat-screen TV, valued at $300, on Tuesday afternoon in the 700 block of W. 3rd. The victim said the theft occurred while he was at work. There were no signs of forced entry and the door was locked, the report said.

Police took a report of a found bike in the 300 block of W. 7th on Tuesday. It was a boys Next bicycle, which was placed into the Bike Shed.
