Sedalia Police crime reports 8-21-18

Sedalia Police arrested 33-year-old Ryan K. Chapman of Sedalia after officers investigated an incident in the 700 block of North Grand just before 9 p.m. Monday. According to a report, the victim said she was assaulted at the residence. Chapman was taken into custody and charged with 4th degree domestic assault.


 

On Monday morning, Jeremy R. Lewis reported the theft of his blue 1996 Honda Civic, valued at $800, from his residence in the 1800 block of S. Park. According to the report, the keys were left inside the vehicle.


 

Ag-Power Inc., 2205 S. Limit, reported the theft of a golf cart from the business. The theft occurred between Friday, Aug. 17 and Saturday, Aug. 18. The cart was valued at $2,500. There are no suspects.


 

Police responded to Fav Trip, 216 W. Broadway, at 2:17 p.m. Monday on a disturbance call after Raymond Bailey Sr., reported someone he knows punched him in the face. Bailey declined medical treatment and did not want to prosecute, according to the report.


 

Police made contact with 24-year-old Anthony G. Guedea of Sedalia at 701 S. Massachusetts at 12:17 p.m. Monday. A computer check revealed Guedea was wanted on two Pettis County warrants. He was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a total bond amount of $4,000, cash or surety.


 

A business at 1400 S. Limit reported the theft of Graco sprayer, valued at $299, from the store on Monday around 1:30 p.m.


 

A woman reported finding a black 24-inch five-speed Extreme bike at 820 S. Limit on Monday afternoon. The bike had been left there for 14 days. According to the report, the serial number had been painted over. The item was placed into the SPD's bike shed.
