Suspect arrested in the lobby of the police station

At 4:23 Monday afternoon, 46-year-old Jerry Nieman of Sedalia reportedly came to the police station to find out if he had any warrants. Nieman was found to have a Pettis County Warrant and was arrested. He was taken to the Pettis County jail pending a $6,000 bond.

 

24-year-old woman arrested on three Pettis County Warrants Saturday night

At 7:21 Saturday night, Sedalia police conducted a warrant check at a residence in the 800 block of East 9th. Upon arrival officers made contact with the suspect, 24-year-old Sarah Tucker of Sedalia, who was found to have three warrants out of Pettis County. Tucker was arrested and taken to the Pettis County jail pending $1510 bond.

 

Two out-of-town male suspects arrested for stealing at Walmart

At 11:28 Saturday morning, Sedalia police arrested 25-year-old  Clarence James of Kansas City, Missouri, and 21-year-old Joshua Weaver of Chillicothe on charges of stealing at the Walmart Store. At the time of the police report, both suspects were being held in the Pettis County jail pending bonds of $522.50 each.

 

82-year-old woman arrested for stealing over the counter medicine

At 10:45 Sunday morning a complainant at Wood’s Supermarket reported the theft of over the counter medicine by a person known to them. The police report states officers arrested an 82-year-old Otterville woman in the incident. She was booked and released with a $522.50 bond.

 

Sedalia woman arrested Sunday for stealing at Walmart

Around 5:10 Sunday evening, Sedalia police arrested 26-year-old Korina Narez of Sedalia on a charge of stealing at the Sedalia Walmart store. Narez was taken to the Pettis County Jail pending $522.50 bond.

 

Warrensburg woman arrested for during an accident investigation

Just past midnight Sunday morning, Sedalia police investigated a traffic accident at Broadway and Limit. During the investigation, 47-year-old Wanda Hall of Warrensburg was arrested. Hall was taken to the Pettis County jail where she was booked and released with a court date.

At 7:45 Monday morning, Sedalia police arrested 32-year-old Rachael Campbell on a failure to appear warrant. Bond was set at $50 cash.

Just after 1 o’clock Monday afternoon, a victim in the 800 block of East 11th reported his 25 horsepower Johnson boat Motor was unbolted and stolen from his boat. Value of the motor was said to be between $2500 and $3000. There were no suspects at news time.

Monday morning, a Sedalia woman reported the front license plate was stolen from her vehicle while she was at McDonalds at 1611 South Limit Saturday. The number on the plate is YF3-T3P expiration date in 2012.

A female complainant reported someone used her credit card to make unauthorized purchases Saturday for a total of $110.44. There were no suspects.

A Wellsville woman reported a tire and wheel was stolen from the bed of her pickup overnight Sunday while she was at the Econolodge. Value of the tire and wheel was set at $400. There were  no suspects.
