SPD reports for Dec. 16

Sedalia Police arrested Nicholas Ryan Noble, 30, homeless, after officers responded to a disturbance at Casey's, 1601 E. Broadway, on Thursday morning. Police found the subject highly agitated & showed sign of mental illness. He requested help and was taken to BRHC, where he was restrained and sedated. He was later taken to the PC Jail and booked on a $28,000 bond. He has a court date of Dec. 17.

Cody Christian Paxton, 24, homeless, was arrested on a Pettis County Probation Violation Wednesday after an incident at Dollar General, 713 E. Broadway, in which he allegedly stole 3 pair of socks. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $2,000 cash bond for the probation violation, and a $2,500 cash or surety bond for stealing.

The owner of Kay's Bridal & Tuxedo in downtown Sedalia reportedly found a baggie containing a white crystalline substance in the ladies changing room on Dec. 9, it was reported. A 14-15 year-old female was trying on dresses earlier in the day, the report said. There are no suspects. The substance, weighing 1.1 grams. tested positive for methamphetamine.

Stephen Edward Lindsey, Jr., 42, Sedalia, was arrested for 2nd degree property damage and stealing after he was accused of shattering a south personnel door and stealing money from the manager's office at KFC, 1513 S. Limit, on Dec. 11. The money was later recovered and returned, the report said. Lindsey was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released.

Tyler Kenneth Dake, 27, Sedalia, was arrested for DWI- Prior Offender, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and operating a Vehicle with no valid Driver's License after a traffic stop for speeding at Ohio and Morgan on Tuesday morning. A search of the vehicle revealed an open container of Alcohol. Dake later performed poorly on a sobriety test and was taken to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released.
