Sedalia Police Crime Reports for Dec. 20, 2016

Sedalia Police arrested Cora Lee Hathaway, 21, of Sedalia, on a Municipal warrant at 3:13 a.m. Saturday in the 700 block of E. Boonville after a traffic stop. Her bond was $150 cash. She now has a court date of Jan. 18.

Officers responded to the 600 block of E. 26th on around 2:30 Sunday afternoon on a subject with no pulse and not breathing. The person was later pronounced deceased.

Steven J. Hayworth reported on Sunday afternoon that someone stole his dog from the 1000 block of E. 9th. He said he is willing to press charges. A search of the area for the dog was unsuccessful.

A Sedalia woman reported on Saturday that multiple checks had been forged and cashed on her account without her permission in Sedalia.

On Tuesday, two cell phones that were found were turned over to Sedalia Police and placed in found property.
