Sedalia Police reports 2-28-18

On Monday, Sedalia Police took a report from a woman who reported that someone stole the tailgate off her 2004 Dodge Ram while at the Missouri State Fairgrounds, 2503 W. 16th. The tailgate was valued at $300. There are no suspects.


 

On Feb. 18, Sedalia Police took a report from a woman who said her vehicle and laptop were stolen from her on Feb. 17. On Sunday, Feb. 18 at 1:53 a.m., the stolen vehicle was spotted traveling westbound near the city limits. Arrested were the driver, Justin Schoen. He was charged with first degree tampering and stealing. His passenger, 27-year-old Holden Boyd Browning, was charged with 2nd degree tampering with property of another. Both were taken to the Pettis County Jail.


 

On Monday night, Sedalia Police responded to a medical call in the 200 block of S. Stewart. The subject was having a seizure on the front porch. He was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center. A computer check revealed that 29-year-old Joshua Wade Bridges was wanted on a parole violation. He was later taken to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.


 

On Monday, Sedalia Police took a report from a Bothwell Regional Health Center employee, who said that her wallet was stolen from her vehicle while at work at the hospital, located at 601 E. 14th. The wallet was described as cream colored, with purple flowers.


 

On Monday at 9:10 p.m., Sedalia Police responded to Perkins restaurant, 1320 S. Limit, on a drunk male who was stealing tip money from patrons and cursing at them. Arrested was 50-year-old Jesse Robert Smith. He was charged with peace disturbance, 4th Degree Misdemeanor Assault and stealing (3rd offense). According to a report, Smith allegedly assaulted an officer while at Bothwell ER. He was later taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of formal charges.


 

On Feb. 22, 23-year-old Dexter Erwin Cramer of Sedalia, was arrested at 11th and Harrison for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check. Cramer was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.


 

On Tuesday morning, Sedalia Police arrested Sarah D. McAteer of Sedalia on a Municipal warrant in the 100 block of E. 4th.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 32-year-old Heather Dawn Borgstadt of Sedalia on on Monday morning just before 11:30. Borgstadt was wanted on five warrants out of three jurisdictions. She was also charged with Possession of Methamphetamine. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a total bond amount of $12,400.


 

On Monday just after midnight, Sedalia Police responded to a noise complaint in the 600 block of W. Cooper. Two subjects were found to have active warrants. Arrested was 17-year-old Bailey Thomas Boone of Sedalia. He was wanted on a warrant for 3rd Degree Assault. Boone's bond was $3,500. Also arrested was 21-year-old Jayvon McGregory of Lexington, who was wanted on a Lexington warrant for Possession of Methamphetamine. His bond was $2,500.
