Sedalia Police arrested Violetta M. Tyan, 21, Sedalia, on Wednesday evening on a Saline County warrant after an officer read her plate and a computer check revealed the FTA. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $125 bond, cash or surety, with a court date of April 20.
Krystle Marquess reported the theft of a boys Mongoose bike, valued at $150, taken from the backyard of a residence in the 100 block of S. Stewart on Wednesday.
Tesa Jenkins, Sedalia, reported on Dec. 28 that someone logged on to her AT&T account and attempted to purchase a new iPhone for $849.99, but she was able to catch the transaction in time and it was canceled. There is a suspect ine the case, the report said.
Sedalia police arrested Denis Grigoryev, 27, Sedalia, on Wednesday after he allegedly walked out of Kohl's, 4300 Wisconsin, with underwear & bras without paying. Store security footage showed a clear picture of the suspect and his vehicle, the report said. Grigoryev was later located and issued a Municipal summons.
On Jan. 3, Tammy Fox reported the theft of property from her residence (1600 block of Heck Ave.) totaling $500 in value. There are suspects in the case.
Misti French of Sedalia reported the theft of a laptop (no value given) from her unlocked car in the 700 block of South State Fair Blvd., on Thursday between 3 and 6 p.m.
Barry E. Keele, 42, Sedalia, was arrested on two outstanding Pettis County warrants (for traffic offenses) on Thursday. His bond was $300 cash.
John P. Beamon III, Sedalia, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of synthetic drugs such as demerol and methado on Jan. 7.
