Sedalia Police reports 1-15-18

Daniel D. Wheeler, 27, Sedalia, was arrested by Sedalia Police at Saline and Veterans Memorial Drive at 8:14 p.m. Saturday after a traffic stop on a tan 2003 Ford Taurus for no headlights. He was also charged with Driving While Suspended, and DWI. Wheeler was taken to the Pettis County jail, where he was booked and released with a Feb. 14 court date.


 

Amy Elizabeth Duncan, 25, West Frankfort, Ill., was arrested by Sedalia Police at 12:24 a.m. in the 2500 block of Stacey Lane after officers were called there on a domestic assault call involving a male and female. The female (Duncan) was placed under arrest and transported to the Pettis County Jail for a 24-hour hold on a charge of 4th Degree Domestic Assault.


 

Jordan J. Fahrner, 25, Sedalia, was arrested after Sedalia Police received a call from a woman who said she was assaulted by her boyfriend at 6:50 p.m. Saturday. Police later located him in the 400 block of W. 4th. Fahrner was taken to the Pettis County Jail and charged with 3rd Degree Assault.


 

Aaron C. Blondell, 48, Sedalia, was issued a Municipal warrant at Wal-Mart, 3201 W. Broadway at 4:22 p.m. Saturday. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $50 cash bond. He now has a Jan. 24 court date.


 

On Friday at 9:51 p.m., at Wal-Mart, 3201 W. Broadway, Sedalia Police arrested 34-year-old Melvin L. Ward, Jr., Sedalia for shoplifting after SPD received a call about a theft in progress. According to a report, Ward attempted to leave the store without paying for items. He was stopped by store security, but then left the store anyway. Ward was later located in the 900 block of Winchester and taken into custody. Store security said they also had another charge of shoplifting on him from Jan. 10. Ward was taken to the Pettis County Jail on two charges of stealing.


 

On Jan. 12, Christine R. Meyer reported someone cut her cable and Internet wires on the outside of her property in the 500 block of W. 2nd.


 

On Friday just after 7 p.m., Sedalia Police arrested 36-year-old Leslie Ann Jackson of Sedalia after a traffic stop on a blue 2007 Dodge Caravan near 16th and Grand. Jackson was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where she was booked for Driving While Revoked and No Proof of Insurance. She was released with a Municipal court date of Feb. 14.


 

Just after noon on Saturday, Sedalia Police arrested 32-year-old Olivia N. Head of Sedalia in the 600 block of N. Osage after officers responded to a disturbance there. Head was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $50 cash bond, with a Feb. 14 court date.


 

On Saturday at 8:22 p.m., at 19th and Washington, Sedalia Police arrested 32-year-old Miguel Rubio of Sedalia for Failure to Register with the DOR and Driving While Revoked after a traffic stop for no license plates. Rubio was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.


 

On Sunday at 1:03 a.m., Sedalia Police took an assault report at 416 Albright Court involving three subjects who assaulted the victim, who did not seek medical treatment for his minor injuries.
