Sedalia Police arrested Marty W. Ferguson, 43, of Smithton, after officers responded to a disturbance at Holiday Inn Express, 4001 W. Broadway, at 12:39 a.m. Jan. 1. According to the report, Ferguson asked the front desk clerk if a certain male was staying at the hotel and when he was told he couldn't have that information, he became upset & grabbed the paperwork with the guests names on it and went upstairs to the room. Police encountered Ferguson in the hallway and advised him to leave and not return. He was issued a Municipal summons.

Garrett Michael Musslin, 19, Sedalia, was arrested for DWI & leaving the scene of an accident after Sedalia Police found his red Chevy Impala wedged between a fence and a tree at Broadway and Washington Sunday morning. He was later located at his home in the 1200 block of S. Garfield and taken into custody.

James Alan Lewis, 45, homeless, was arrested on Friday for possession of drug paraphernalia and also on two warrants out of Miller and Camden counties after police responded to reports of someone walking through alleys and yards near N. Grand and Henry.

KFC reported that someone stole $150 of consumable goods from an outside freezer on Dec. 29 at 1513 S. Limit. There are no suspects in the case.

Discount Smoke and Liquor, 2610 W. Broadway, reported that 3 people entered the store on Dec. 29 and scammed the cashier out of several hundred dollars. Surveillance video is being reviewed to identify the suspects.

Cynthia R. Wilson, 17, was arrested and charged with possession of non-narcotic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia after police checked on a vehicle parked at a closed business at 2801 W. Broadway on Friday . Wilson was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of state charges. A court date was to be announced.

Sedalia Police arrested Edgar Alphonzo Gonzalez-Perez, 24, of Sedalia, on New Year's Day for Driving While Revoked after a traffic stop on a black Camaro for failure to keep on the right side of the roadway. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $533.50 bond and a court date of Jan. 18.

Blake R. Long, 19, Sedalia, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after Sedalia Police conducted a follow-up in the 700 block of W. 3rd street and noticed the smell of marijuana coming from inside the apartment. A consent to search revealed a marijuana pipe and a marijuana remnants. Long was issued a Municipal summons for court on Feb. 15.

On Sunday morning at 4:20 a.m. Sedalia Police arrested Alex James McKay, 28, for 3rd degree felony Domestic Assault after officers responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of Buckner Court. McKay was transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Jason Jonah Harvey, Jr., 22, Sedalia, was arrested on New Year's Eve for DWI-Prior offender and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license after a traffic stop at 3201 W. Broadway on a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria. Harvey was transported to the Pettis County Jail, and booked and released pending the filing of state charges.

William E. Stark, Jr., 50, Sedalia, was arrested for Failure to Drive on the right side of the roadway and possession of marijuana after Sedalia Police investigated a traffic complaint on New Year's Eve. A consent to search the vehicles revealed the marijuana. Stark was transported to the Pettis County Jail for a 24-hour hold.

Police took a property damage report in the 1600 block of W. 11 on New Year's Day. According to the report a brick was thrown through the victim's front window. A juvenile reportedly had been threatening their son.

Tracy R. Arnold, 21, Sedalia, was arrested for DWI, Possession of Marijuana, Speeding and No Proof of Insurance after a traffic stop on a green Ford Ranger Jan. 1 at 2:33 a.m. Arnold was transported to the Pettis County  Jail, booked and released.
