Sedalia Police reports 1-8-18

Sedalia Police arrested 28-year-old Tylor T. Spade of Cole Camp just before 10 a.m. Saturday after officers responded to a call of an assault that occurred in a vehicle at 1700 E. Broadway. Dispatch informed the officer that the vehicle was headed to the 1400 block of E. 14th and that's where the arrested happened. According to a report, the victim had injuries caused by the suspect (Spade). Spade was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $7,500 cash or surety bond for a Pettis County warrant. He was also charged with 3rd Degree Assault. In addition, Spade was wanted on a Benton County Parole violation on a $50,000 cash or surety bond.


 

A Lamar man was arrested and charged with 1st Degree Trespassing after a disturbance at Applebee's, 3320 W. Broadway. Sedalia arrested 33-year-old Joseph A. Johnson after he caused a disturbance and refused to leave the restaurant around 11:20 p.m. Friday night. Johnson was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.


 

On Sunday, Sedalia Police arrested 33-year-old Richard Scott Cramer of Sedalia for 2nd Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child and 2nd Degree Domestic Assault after the victim alleged Cramer slapped her in the face after an argument about the kids. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of formal charges.


 

On Saturday afternoon, Sedalia Police arrested 23-year-old Juan Quetzucua in the 1300 block of S. Ohio on two Pettis County warrants. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $4,000 total bond, with a Feb. 14 court date.


 

On Saturday night just before 11:30, Sedalia Police took a theft report from Sierra Edgar, who said that someone stole her purse and cell phone from her unlocked vehicle while she was parked at the BRHC ED, 601 E. 14th. There are no suspects.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 21-year-old Jesse L. Contreras of Sedalia after a traffic stop on a white Toyota Corolla for expired plates at 2300 Clinton Road around 10:35 Friday morning. The officer detected the odor of marijuana, and a subsequent search revealed marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Contreras was issued summons and released from the scene.


 

Sedalia Police took 20-year-old Dalton Joseph Lockhart of Lincoln into custody after he was arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on a Sedalia warrant in the 4500 block of S. Limit Saturday night. He was transferred to the Pettis County Jail.


 

On Friday morning, Sedalia Police arrested Justin T. Peel of Sedalia for assault after the victim said that Peel punched him in the face in the 300 block of S. Hancock, according to a report. Peel was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released with a Feb. 7 court date.


 

On Sunday just before midnight, Sedalia Police arrested 25-year-old Edgar Alfonso Gonzalez Perez of Sedalia after a traffic stop on a black Honda at 14th and Beacon. Perez was charged with DWI-prior offender and Driving While Revoked. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police took a theft report from Shane Douglas Bom, who reported his PS4 and several DVDs were stolen from his room in the 1000 block of S. Ohio while he was gone to work from 4:30 am to 3 p.m. Friday. The loss was estimated at $731. There is one suspect.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 30-year-old Elizabeth Ann Esqueda of Sedalia in the 100 block of W. Broadway at 8:30 p.m. Friday on a Parole warrant for bad checks. Esqueda was taken to the Pettis County Jail.


Sedalia Police arrested 47-year-old Craig Andrew Kingsley of Sedalia at Broadway and Winchester after a traffic stop on a white GMC truck and charged with Driving While Revoked just before 11 p.m. Friday. Kingsley was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.


 

On Sunday just before noon, Sedalia Police arrested 40-year-old Jose Luis Herrera Zacarious, Sr., of Sedalia at 318 W. Broadway after a traffic stop on a black VW for driving without headlights during inclement weather. A computer check revealed Zacarious to be Driving While Revoked. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail, and also charged with Identity Theft. He was later booked and released.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 46-year-old Rusty Lynn Garrison of Sedallia after a traffic stop at Broadway and New York on a Pettis County warrant just after 11 p.m. Saturday. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $250 cash bond.


 

On Sunday afternoon, Sedalia Police arrested 20-year-old Tristan James Medrano at 16th and Babcock after a traffic stop for driving without headlights when windshield wipers are required. Medrano was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.
