Sedalia Police looking for a running man on multiple charges

At 1:23 Tuesday afternoon Sedalia police were dispatched to 14th and Carr on a suspect with a glass bottle. The police report states the suspect fled the area in a vehicle prior to their arrival, but they were able to locate the vehicle, and attempt to stop it. The suspect refused to stop, and left the vehicle in the 1300 block of West 16th, and ran away on foot. The suspect was able to elude the officers, but faces charges of careless and imprudent driving, peace disturbance, resisting arrest, leaving the scene of an accident,no operator's license, and no proof of insuraqnce.

Burglary complaint filed by a renter in the 1800 block of South Barrett

Tuesday morning a renter in the 1800 block of South Barrett reported his apartment was burglarized sometime between the morning of the 5th of July, and the afternoon of Thursday the 10th of July. There are no suspects, and no information on what was stolen has been provided.

53-year-old Sedalia man arrested on a Pettis County Warrant Tuesday night

At 11:30 Tuesday night Sedalia police located a suspect with a Pettis County Warrant at 7th and Massachusettes. Arrested at the scene was 53-year-old Walter Jones. At the time of the police report Jones was in the Pettis County jail pending a $474 cash only bond.

39-year-old male driver arrested for driving while revoked Tuesday evening

Around 6:30 Tuesday evening Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at North Missouri and Pettis with a driver known to be revoked. Following confirmaqtion through dispatch, 39-year-old Kenneth Kendrick of Sedalia was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a $531.50 bond.

22-year-old Karis Page was arrested on a failure to appear warrant. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending an $88.50 cash only bond.

39-year-old Hyacinth Rasmussen was arrested at 8:20 Tuesday night during a traffic stop in the 300 block of North Heard, for driving while suspended. Rasmussen was booked and released with a court date
