A car vs. bicycle wreck sent a 6-year-old boy to the hospital Friday afternoon at Broadway and Kentucky. According to a report, Andrey Kushnir, 37, of Sedalia, was southbound on Kentucky at 6:23 p.m. when six-year-old David R. Boggs of Sedalia rode his bike across Kentucky at the crosswalk and was struck by Kushnir's car. Boggs sustained injuries to his head, face, right arm and hand. He was taken to BRHC by PCAD for treatment. Kushnir did not complain of any injuries, according to the report. Both the car & the bike were towed away. An active investigation is underway and any witnesses to the accident should contact Officer Victoria Kottman at 826-8100.


 

A man and woman driving driving past the SHA claim their car was struck by BBs or air soft pellets on Friday afternoon just after 3. The suspect, Antonio Wells, 30, was located and arrested for discharging a firearm in the city limits and destruction of property. He was also issued a trespassing notice for the entire SHA.


 

On Sunday morning, Calvin D. Fields, 53, Sedalia, was arrested after a traffic stop for a brake light out at 16th and Thompson. He was wanted on two Morgan County warrants. Fields was transported to the Pettis County Jail on $2,000 total bond.


 

Johnny J. Renno, 49, Hughesville, was arrested and charged with 3rd Degree Domestic Assault and Kidnapping on Sunday after Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of West Main. The victim claims she was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend, and he also allgedly prevented her from leaving. Renno was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Travis Dale Martin, 27, Sedalia, was arrested after a traffic stop on a blue Chevy for failure to signal on Sunday at 3:28 a.m. He had no valid license and was also wanted on a Pettis County warrant for stealing. Martin was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $5,000 cash or surety bond. He was booked and released.


 

Erik Christopher McCluskey, 25, Sedalia, was arrested for 2nd Degree Domestic Assault after Sedalia Police responded to a domestic disturbance call in the 1200 block of E. 11th on Saturday morning. The victim claims his boyfriend bit him. McCluskey admited to biting the victim, and was transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Angel Martinez, 17, La Monte, was arrested after a traffic stop for a break light out at 16th and Babcock on Sunday. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.


 

On Saturday afternoon, Robert William Sandberg, 43, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Revoked after a traffic stop in the 500 block of W. Main. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail with an Aug. 1 court date.


 

Ricky Lee Bailey, 28, Pettis County, was arrested in the 1700 block of E. Broadway at 11:19 p.m. on Friday and charged with Driving While Suspended after a traffic stop for improper registration. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.


 

Marcos-Torres Antonio, 20, Sedalia, was arrested after a traffic stop on a silver Honda that ran a red light at Main and Grand on Friday afternoon. He was charged with Driving While Suspended and was also wanted on a Muncipal warrant. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on an $88.50 bond, with an Aug. 23 court date.


 

James Junior Baker, 18, Pettis County, was arrested on a Muncipal warrant at Broadway and Moniteau Saturday afternoon. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $50 cash bond. He has a court date of Aug. 23.


 

On Saturday morning, Cheryl L. Cook reported the theft of a bicycle that was taken fromn the 400 block of E. Howard between 1 and 2 p.m. Friday.


 

Michael T. Glaesemann, 41, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended, Possession of Methamphetamine and also on a Henry County warrant (2nd degree assault) at 10th and Limit early Saturday morning. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $15,000 bond.


 

Travis Lynn Hoehns, 43, Sedalia, was issued two summons for animals biting or attacking on Saturday evening at Sunrise Mobile Home Court. The offending dog was taken to the animal shelter.


 

Tylor T. Spade, Pettis County, was arrested on a Benton County warrant at 17th and Lamine on Saturday afternoon after a traffic stop for displaying truck plates on a Ford Escort. Spade was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $1,000 cash or surety bond. He now has a court date of Aug. 22.
