Sedalia Police Crime Reports for March 1, 2018
Sedalia Police arrested 26-year-old Randy W. Lutjen, Jr. of Sedalia after he was found lying in the front seat of a truck at 4:03 a.m. Wednesday. He was wanted in a probation violation (no bond), a Morgan County warrant ($50), and a Versailles warrant ($322.50). Lutjen was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail.
On Tuesday, a woman reported the theft of her wallet from her vehicle overnight in the 1700 block of S. Ohio.
On Tuesday night, WalMart, 3201 W. Broadway, reported a forgery. According to a report, at 4:20 a.m. a subject took the price tags off of cheaper items and placed them on higher-priced items. Then they scanned the cheaper bar codes at self-check to pay for the higher-priced items. Total value of the items was $55.26. The suspect has not yet been located.
