Sedalia Police reports 3-6-18

On Monday, Sedalia Police arrested 38-year-old Kevin Allen Clark of Hughesville after officers were dispatched to a physical disturbance just before 9:30 a.m. on South New York Avenue. According to a report, the suspect fled from a house into a nearby wooded area. He was located a short time later in the 3000 block of S. New York and taken into custody. Clark was then transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

On Monday, Terri Ballard reported finding several IDs and other cards from various people inside an abandoned residence belonging to her in the 1500 block of E. 10th.


 

On Monday, a woman reported that $350 was stolen from her house in the 1500 block of South Missouri.


 

On Monday, Sedalia Police arrested 24-year-old Jonathan L. Mau for 2nd Degree Assault after officers were called to the 2500 block of Dennis Road at 10:46 p.m. According to a report, the caller, an employee at the residence, said a tenant hit another tenant in the head with a chair, which cut his head open. The victim was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center, while the suspect was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the formal filing of charges for 2nd Degree Assault.


 

On Monday, a woman reported the theft of $419.98 of items stolen from her residence in the 200 block of S. Moniteau.
