Sedalia Police reports 5-11-18

Sedalia Police arrested 27-year-old Tyler D. Slayden of Sedalia for 3rd Degree Assault in the 600 block of W. 5th. Thursday morning. According to a report, officers observed blood on Slayden's T-shirt and investigation revealed he had assaulted someone living at the residence. The victim had injuries to his nose and face, the report said. Slayden was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.

On Friday at 4:32 a.m., Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a black passenger vehicle for improper registration at 5th and Porter. A computer check revealed that the passenger, 34-year-old William D. Ross of Clifton City, was wanted on a Pettis County warrant (DWI) and a probation violation. The driver of the vehicle gave consent to search the vehicle. In the meantime, the passenger, who was already detained in the patrol car, complained of shortness of breath and chest pain. He was taken Bothwell Regional Health Center ER for treatment, then cleared for confinement at the Pettis County Jail. Bond for Ross was set at $2,000 cash or $2,500 surety. His court date was to be determined.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 22-year-old Johnathan M. Hutchings of Warrensburg for Driving While Suspended after a traffic accident at 10th and Winchester just after 4 p.m. Thursday. Hutchings was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released. His court date was to be determined.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 32-year-old Jake N. Robinson of Sedalia after officers responded to a disturbance at Fair View Nursing Home, 1714 W. 16th, just after 2 p.m. Wednesday. A computer check revealed he was wanted on a Pettis County warrant. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $10 bond.
