Sedalia Police crime reports 5-30-17

Sedalia Police arrested Kevin Henry Lee, 29, Sedalia, on a Pettis County warrant just after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail and booked.


 

Maria S. Lowe, Sedalia, was arrested on a Pettis County warrant and also for Driving While Revoked after a traffic stop on a silver BMW behind Fav Trip, 216 W. Broadway, on Tuesday morning. Lowe was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $750 cash bond. She was booked and released, pending the filing of state charges.


 

Brian Keith Johnson, Jr., 29, homeless, was arrested on charges of 3rd Degree Domestic Assault and Driving While Revoked after Sedalia Police responded to a physical disturbance in the 1600 block of S. Harrison at 2 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, the suspect punched the victim in the stomach and spit on her. Johnson was transported to the Pettis County Jail and later found with a controlled substance, which was sent to a lab. He was being held on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of state charges.


 

Candis L. White, 32, Sedalia, was arrested for assault after police responded to the 500 block of S. Kentucky around 6:30 p.m. Monday. The report added that a Municipal summons was issued to both parties involved in the incident.


 

On Tuesday night, Sedalia Police took a property damage report involving a BB gun that was shot at the victim's front window, creating a hole in it in the 500 block of W. 5th. Estimated damage to the window was $200.


 

The Sedalia Wal-Mart, 3201 W, Broadway, reported a theft in progress involving two possible suspects on Monday evening. The female was previously given a trespass notice and not allowed to be in the store. The incident remains under investigation, pending a review of the store's surveillance footage.


 

On Tuesday morning, Wendy L. Smith reported property damage to Sedalia Police. According to the report, the driver's side window was broken in her van, causing $200 of damage. There are no suspects.


 

On Tuesday, Barbara L. Farris reported the theft of a concrete statue from her front yard in the 500 block of South Quincy. The statue, valued at $50, was of an Army soldier with a cross, according to the report. There are no suspects.
