Sedalia Police crime reports 5-31-18

Sedalia Police took a report from Joseph Meyer, who said he took his prescriptions to Bothwell Regional Health Center, 601 E. 14th on Wednesday, and he was later given a sealed bag with his belongings, without the prescriptions, valued at $102. There are no suspects.


On Wednesday, Parks & Rec reported someone damaged the men's restroom Katy Park, 2200 S. Grand, causing $500 of damage to the interior walls. The incident occurred sometime between 9 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday.


On Wednesday, John Fritz, reported that his mailbox, valued at $15, and its contents, were stolen sometime during the past week in the 1300 block of W. 32nd. There are no suspects.


On Thursday morning (May 31), Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop near 27th St. and Washington Ave for a vehicle failing to use headlights during inclimate weather. Investigation revealed the suspect, 47-year old William Patterson, to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. He also had a probation violation warrant. Patterson was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a bond of $3,000.00.


On Wednesday (May 30), Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check in the 1400 block of S. Sneed Ave. The suspect, 37-year old Rian E. Kelly, had a Pettis County warrant for Forgery. Kelly was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a bond of $5,000.00.
