SPD crime reports 5-4-17

Heather Dawn Nispel, 33, Sedalia, was arrested for 3rd degree Domestic Assault Wednesday morning after the victim claimed he was assaulted by his girlfriend, who was later located and arrested. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.


 

Anthony Louis Woolery, 29, Sedalia, was arrested for DWI after a car stop on Ruth Ann Drive at 1:10 a.m. Sunday. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released pending the filing of a Municipal charge. He has a May 31 court date.


 

Ryan Lee Hefley, 38, was arrested Wednesday night after Sedalia Police were called on a man cursing and screaming at passing cars. He was placed in protective custody at the Pettis County Jail pending sobriety.


 

Crystal Gayle Thomas, 26, Sedalia, was arrested at 16th and Ohio on Wednesday after a traffic stop on a gray Cadillac for no headlights on despite the rain, and also for defective equipment. Thomas was an occupant in the vehicle. She was wanted on a felony parole violation. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.


 

Michelle Lea Lopez, 37, Sedalia, was arrested at Broadway & Arlington Wednesday after a traffic stop on a black Ford truck with no headlights despite the rain, and also for no license plates. She was charged with Driving While Suspended. Lopez was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where she was booked and released with a June 7 court date. Her bond was $535.


 

Nathanael A. David, 28, Sedalia, was arrested at 3:04 a.m. Wednesday at Broadway and Winchester and charged with DWI and Improper Lane Usage after a traffic stop on a gray, 2004 Jeep Cherokee. David was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released, pending the filing of a Municipal charge. He has a court date of June 7.


 

Jordan Elizabeth Aldrich, 24, Sedalia, was arrested for possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on a black Chevy for an expired Missouri temp tag on Wednesday just before 10 p.m. She was issued a municipal summons with a July 5 court date.


 

Terry James Roark, Jr., 36, was arrested for violation of an ex parte in the 1500 block of S. Grand on Wednesday afternoon. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.


 

Melissa M. Cornwell, 30, Sedalia, was arrested on a Benton County warrant in the 200 block of S. Osage Wednesday morning. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $250 cash or surety bond.


 

Wal-Mart, 3201 W. Broadway, reported that a customer became upset and verbally abusive towards employees when he was refused, according to a report on Wednesday evening. The suspect lifted his shirt to show a concealed weapon as he was leaving the store, according to the report. No arrests were made.
