Sedalia Police  Report 11-26-16

Franklin D. Greer, 32, Sedalia, was arrested after Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance at 405 W. 10th Saturday at 2:19 a.m. Upon officers' arrival, Greer was found to be highly intoxicated and was causing a physical disturbance. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 12-hour pending sobriety. No charges were requested in the incident. However, Greer was issued a trespass warning.

Fernando Contreras, 33. Sedalia, was arrested by Sedalia Police after he allegedly hit two parked vehicles in the 400 block of N. Grand Friday night just before 8 p.m.. The driver (Contreras) attempted to flee the scene, but was restrained by witnesses to the accident. Officers later found him to be intoxicated. He was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Suspended, Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Identity Theft. Contreras was transported to the Pettis County Jail with a court date and bond amount to be announced.

Latasha L. Wolfe reported a burglary at her residence late Friday night in the 400 block of E. 7th around 8:30 p.m. According to the report, a hole was knocked in her closet wall and a safe was stolen. The safe contained personal papers, jewelry and two cell phones.

Camaron L. Timmons reported the theft of a vehicle Friday night around 10:45 p.m. According to the report, the suspect was a passenger in her car when she stopped to go inside 1804 S. Grand. When she came out, the vehicle was gone.
