Sedalia Police 10-18-16

Sedalia Police arrested Brian A. Driskell, 25, Sedalia, for Driving While Suspended after a trafic stop at 2:11 a.m. Sept. 28 at 3rd and Engineer. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released with a court date of Nov. 2.

Brian E. Jackson, 40, Sedalia, was arrested after he was found “intoxicated by drugs and exhibiting paranoid tendencies” by Sedalia Police after they responded to a report of suspicious behavior in the 1900 block of S. Quincy at 5:49 a.m. Monday. Jackson was placed into protective custody on a 12-hour sobriety hold.

Jason Tyrell Hill, 33, Sedalia, was arrested for 3rd Degree Domestic Assault after officers responded to a disturbance in the 500 block of W. 6th Monday. The caller heard screaming coming from a nearby house. It was later determined that a female was hit in the face by a male. Hill was transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Police took a theft report at Advantage Metals, 1401 Benton Street, on Monday morning. Someone took a semi-truck headlight, valued at $800. A suspect has not yet been identified.

Police took a hit-and-run report Monday morning in the 1200 block of S. Limit. The victim said he was rear-ended by a vehicle that left the scene without providing any information. According to the report, there were no injuries and there was no damage to the victim's vehicle. An investigation is ongoing.

Police took a property damage report on Monday night in the 400 block of E. 5th involving the complainant's daughter's vehicle. The report stated that her boyfriend kicked the door and broke the rear-view mirror loose.

Police took a vandalism report in the 2500 block of N. Woodlawn Drive late Monday night. The victim said someone put multiple scratches in her vehicle while it was parked in her driveway. In addition, someone had poured a substance into her gas tank.

Sear's, 3117 W. Broadway, in the Thompson Hills Shopping Center, reported illegal dumping behind the business on Monday. The caller said he approached the couple (male & female) and they immediately left in their vehicle. The caller provided descriptions of both suspects as well as the vehicle they were driving.
