Sedalia Police reports 10-3-16

Sedalia Police arrested Michael L. McDonald, 44, Sedalia, was arrested on a Boone County warrant Friday. Sept. 30. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $4,500 bond (cash or surety) and a court date of Oct. 3.

On Sept. 26, National TV, 1400 S. Limit, reported that an employee has stolen $36,000 of property from the business. An investigation is ongoing.

William Rivera, 39, Sedalia, was arrested for Failure to Appear-misdemeanor on a Benton County warrant for insufficient funds on Sunday afternoon. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $1,000 bond, cash or surety.

Radu B. Ciobanu, 25, Smithton, was arrested Saturday night after a traffic stop at Wendy's, 1301 S. Limit, for Driving While Revoked. Ciobanu was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of state charges.

Karl Lee Buettner, 41, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended after a traffic stop at Broadway and Missouri for improper registration on Saturday night. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending the filing of state charges.

Kassandra Diaz, 21, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended after a traffic stop at Casey's, 1601 E. Broadway, just after 11 p.m. Saturday. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where she was booked and released.

Rian Elizabeth Kelly, 36, Sedalia, was issued a Municipal summons for Animals Running at Large after her two dogs were taken to the Sedalia Animal Shelter for the second time in three days, a report said. Kelly has a court date of Oct. 19.

Police took a hit-and-run report on Sunday. The victim said she was in several stores that day and doesn't know where and when it happened. The suspect caused $300 in damage to her car.

Police took a vandalism report on Sunday. The victim said someone punctured his tire while it was parked in his driveway overnight, causing $100 in damage.

Police took a stolen bicycle report on Sunday in the 300 block of W. 7th. Taken was a turquoise, 26-inch girls Roadmaster mountain bike.
