Sedalia Police arrested Karl Buettner, 41, Sedalia, for Driving While Suspended Wednesday morning after a motor vehicle accident at 2nd and Quincy. He was later released, pending paperwork from the Department of Social Services.

Police arrested a 53-year-old homeless man for 1st degree tresspassing at 502 E. 2nd on Thursday. Corey Dean Elder, of Sedalia, reportedly walked away from officers and would not obey any orders. He was then arrested. The complainant stated they entered the residence to clean it for ABC rentals and discovered the man inside.

Dana Pearl Spellbusch, 49, Sedalia, was arrested for Failure to Appear and Failure to Register as a Sex offender after police responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of South Grand. The suspect was found to have foud active warrants out of Jackson County. Spellbusch was transported to the Pettis County and booked with a total bond of $4,000.

Sedalia Police were called to the 300 block of East 2nd Street just after 3 a.m. on October 6 to investigate a claim of domestic violence. Officers met with the caller who said that her husband was highly intoxicated and had assaulted her. Police say they determined that an assault did take place, and arrested 31-year-old Gary Douglas Horn of Sedalia for 3rd Degree Domestic Assault. Horn was transported to the Pettis County Jail, pending state charges.
