Sedalia Police reports 9-6-16
Sedalia Police arrested Timothy D. Jackson, 37, Sedalia, after a subject check at a closed business near Broadway and Marshall Monday morning. Jackson was later found to have an active Pettis County warrant. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and booked on a $10,000 bond, with a court date to be announced.

On Monday at 5:46 a.m., at 16th and Harrison, Clayton Daniel Alcorn, 53, Sedalia, was arrested for DWI-Persistent Offender after a traffic stop for running a stop sign at 16th and Ingram, and for improper lane use in the west bound lane on westbound 16th. He was later found to be intoxicated. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold with a court date and bond to be announced.

Police took a property damage report in the 1800 block of E. Broadway on Monday. The victim reported that all four tires and the gas tank were damaged in his 1999 Ford Explorer sometime between Sept. 3-4, causing $500 of damage.

Jesse R. Smith, 49, Sedalia, was arrested for stealing on Monday evening. He allegedly left the Subway Sandwich shop, 100 E. Broadway, without paying for $3.33 in food. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and held on a 24-hour hold.

Break Time convenience store, 808 E. Broadway, reported a gas drive-off Monday at 9:11 p.m. The suspect left without paying for $29.83 in fuel.
