Sedalia Police reports 9-8-16
Sedalia Police arrested Russel Marcus Bain, 54, Sedalia, on Wednesday. He allegedly stole a weed eater and a leaf blower from a business located at 16th and Ohio. The items, valued at $1,200, were recovered.

Joshua Ray Smith, 32, Sedalia, was arrested Wednesday evening for Driving While Suspended after a traffic stop at 7th and Brown. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $533.50 with a court date of Oct. 5.

Heather M. Ruth, 26, Warsaw, was arrested for Driving While Suspended after a traffic stop just after 11 p.m. Wednesday. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail, book and released with a Sept. 21 court date.

Timothy Eugene Holland, 48, Sedalia, was arrested for Failure to Appear Upon Arrest or Summons on Wednesday night after Sedalia Police responded to a complaint of two cars blocking the alley in the 1200 block of W. 6th. Holland had a Municipal warrant for a traffic offense. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $50 bond with an Oct. 19 court date.

Jesse R. Smith, 49, homeless, was taken into custody after police received a report of an intoxicated man who almost fell into traffic near Broadway and Ingram. Officers located him near 7th and Lafayette, then transported him to the Pettis County Jail pending sobriety.

Williams-Woody Nissan, 3600 S. Limit, reported the theft of one of their dealer plates, D-298JC, taken sometime overnight Sept. 1.

Stone Laser Imaging, 209 S. Ohio, reported on Wednesday that someone spray painted the building, according to the business owner. There were no suspects at the time of the report.
