Sedalia Police crime reports 9-20-18
Sedalia Police responded to the 300 block of East Cooper on an unresponsive subject Wednesday at 2:17 p.m. Family members were on scene and stated that the deceased suffered from complications of COPD. No foul play is suspected.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 25-year-old Nathaniel A. Bose-Mosley after conducting a traffic stop at 716 W. 16th Wednesday around noon on a maroon Pontiac Montana for no front plate. A computer check revealed Bose-Mosley was wanted on a Sedalia warrant ($114 with a Oct. 24 court date) and a Higginsville warrant ($150 with a Nov. 8 court date). He was taken to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police took a harassment report from a Sedalia woman on Friday evening. According to a report, she received  a video from an unknown male in which he performed a ritual to cause harm to her and her son. The suspect told her she would have to pay him $3,000 to keep her and her son safe from the spirits he was conjuring up to harm them.


 

On Wednesday night around 9:25 p.m., Sedalia officers responded to a verbal disturbance in the 800 block of E. 7th. A traffic stop on one of the vehicles there resulted in the arrest of 17-year-old Kenkori Lenell Grant, Jr., of Sedalia. He was wanted on an FTA warrant for driving without a license. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $150 cash or surety bond.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no tail lights Wednesday at 8:23 p.m. at 318 W. Broadway. A computer check revealed 50-year-old Cresia A. Dougherty of Sedalia was driving while suspended. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail where she was booked and released.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 25-year-old Tyler Ray Hice in the 300 block of S. Lamine at 1:10 p.m. Tuesday. According to a report, the suspect assulted a woman on the 17th. Hice was located and arrested on 2nd degree Domestic Assault. He denied any involvement in the incident. The matter is being forwarded to the prosecutor for review.


 

On Wednesday at 9:40 a.m. in the Sedalia PD lobby, 43-year-old Lisa Marie Thompson of Sedalia was arrested on a Municipal warrant (driving while suspended). She was taken to the Pettis County Jail. The report stated she paid the $250 cash bond immediately and the officer transported her back to her vehicle so she could go back to work.
