SPD crime reports 4-6-17

On Wednesday afternoon, Sedalia Police arrested Dylon M. Motley, 22, Sedalia, who's accused of shoplifting hundreds of dollars worth of jewelry from Hobby Lobby, 4125 W. Broadway, on March 16. Motley was issued a Municipal Court summons with a May 10 court date.


 

Melvin Edward Osburn, 19, Sedalia, was arrested near 13th and Ohio on Wednesday night after a traffic stop. A computer check revealed Osburn was wanted on a $2,500 Pettis County Warrant, a $400 Lee's Summit warrant and a $100 Cass County warrant. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Anthony M. Akins, 27, Sedalia, was arrested by Sedalia Police on a no-bond parole violation warrant (burglary) at 4:21 a.m. Thursday. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail. His court date is to be determined.


 

Dreyvin Jaquelynn Deleshull, 19, Pettis County, was arrested and charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol after a traffic stop on a Nissan at 16th and Montgomery at 11:58 p.m. Wednesday for failure to stop at a stop sign at 16th and Summit. Deleshull was a passenger in the vehicle. She was issued a Municipal summons and now has a May 17 court date.


 

Larry Coonce of Sedalia reported the theft of $300 of Pokemon and Yu Gi Oh cards from his unlocked vehicle in the 800 block of E. 16th and on Wednesday evening. The theft occurred between April 1 & 4, according to the report. There are no suspects.
