SPD crime reports

Roy Lee Neighbors, 46, Sedalia, was arrested after a traffic stop on a Pettis County warrant at 3:24 a.m. Wednesday. Neighbors was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $150 cash bond and a court date of Jan. 24.

Sedalia Police responded to a report of a non-breather in the 700 block of W. 2nd on Monday at 12:20 p.m. The person was later pronounced deceased by the Coroner's office.

On Tuesday at 2:19 a.m. ETS Taxi reported that all four tires were slashed on a company vehicle parked near 7th and Vermont, causing $600 of damage. The incident occurred between 11:10 p.m. Monday and 2:10 a.m. Tuesday.

Bradley E. Kern reported on Monday that one tire was slashed on his vehicle while it was parked in the 200 block of E. Walnut. In addition, the gas cap was removed and it was suspected that a substance was poured into the tank.

Mitchel W. Duncan, 28, homeless, was arrested on a Benton County warrant after Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance at 215 E. 2nd on Saturday at 1:56 a.m. When officers arrived, they observed several people arguing, one of whom left the area and was later located in the parking lot of Burger King, 1101 S. Limit. Duncan was transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Joe E. Simons reported on Monday that 24 vehicles were stolen, in addition to some trailers and other equipment. The report was made in the 1500 block of E. 4th Street and the complainant is the executor of a deceased family member's estate, according to the report. There are suspects and leads in the case.

Darryl Allen Frazier reported the theft of an iPhone battery and SIM card in the 400 block of N. Mill on Monday afternoon. The value of the items was estimated at $155. There is a suspect in the case.

Russell M. Bain, 55, Sedalia, was arrested on misdemeanor and felony Failure to Appear charges Monday afternoon in the 1600 block of S. Osage. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a total bond of $16,500, cash or surety.

Sherrell Alexandria Peck, 35, was arrested on a Municipal warrant (no valid license) on Tuesday afternoon in the 1000 block of W. 3rd Street. Her bond was $50.

Aubrey J. Mitchell, Sedalia, reported on Tuesday that her credit card information was obtained, then used to make a purchase at the Sedalia Wal-Mart, 3201 W. Broadway, on Jan. 6.

Virginia A. Ward, reported that someone threw a firecracker on her porch, causing a half-dollar sized hole in her siding in the 1100 block of W. 6th Street on Tuesday. There are no suspects.
