Around 8:50 in the morning on January 18th, in the 400 block of North Engineer, Sedalia Police took a report of property damage due to the result of a hit and run accident. The officer made contact with the complaintint, who stated that sometime between Sunday afternoon and Monday morning, unknown subject(s), damaged a door to his facility, identified as Central Missouri Amusement Company, by colliding into the building with a vehicle. The estimated cost of repair is placed at $800.00. The invesitgation is ongoing....

Around 10:50 in the morning on January 15th, Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop near East 4th Street and South Lamine Avenue. A check though dispatch, revealed that the driver had a suspended driving status. Arrested at the scene was 27-year old Tiffany L. Kizzire. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.

Late in the evening on January 17th, around 11:24, Police officers responded to 808 East Broadway, the Break Time store, on reference about a female subject who claimed she was being held against her will by a former boyfriend. Allegedly, the former boyfriend got her into a vehicle, took her cell-phone, and then drove around, refusing to let her out of the car. Once they stopped at the gas station, the female victim was able to get inside and request someone call the police. Arrested at the scene was 24-year old Scott William Abney, for 3rd degree domestic assault, false imprisonment, and stealing. He was being held in the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold pending state charges.

Early this morning, around 2:46, in the 1700 block of South Ohio, Sedalia Police took a report of a burglary. The victim stated she walked into her kitchen and saw a male subject that she did not recognize. The subject did not say anything, he just ran out of the back door. Nothing was reported damaged or missing. The suspect has not been located at this time.

Around 5:33 in the evening, on January 18th, in the 1500 block of South Osage Avenue, there was a reported sex crime. The compaintint stated that her two juvenile children had gone to a nearby residence to look for a friend. When they knocked on the door, a male subject allegedly opened the door and was nude, exposing his genitals to the children. There were no other details listed in the police report.
