Sedalia Police crime reports
On Thursday at 10:05 p.m., Sedalia Police arrested Dustin Alan Lappat, 35, homeless, for 3rd degree assault on a law enforcement officer, and resisting arrest after a traffic stop conducted at Broadway & Summit. According to the report, while the officer was conducting a DWI investigation, the passenger shoved an officer, then ran from police, leading to a short foot pursuit. Lappat was then arrested. He complained of injuries to his chest. PCAD then responded, but Lappat refused treatment. He was then transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Dalton Wright, 24, Sedalia, was arrested at 100 E. Broadway at 11 p.m. Thursday night after Sedalia Police responded to a report of two subjects standing outside a closed business holding bags. One subject had a full order of protection on the other. Wright was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Alexander Anthony Brockman, 19, Hughesville, was arrested at 11th and Ohio Thursday night at 8:20 after a traffic stop on a maroon Oldsmobile for no front license plate. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.


 

On Friday at 12:39 a.m., Karen Porter reported that someone stole $5300 from her lock box while she was at a doctor's appointment.
