SPD crime reports 5-18-17

Sedalia Police arrested Floyd Ray Snow, Sr., 58, on charges of 4th degree Domestic Assault after officers responded to a disturbance in the 900 block of E. 5th around 8:30 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, Snow allegedly punched at the victim and thrust his hand through a glass panel. The victim ended up with glass in her face and down her chest, causing multiple cut marks. Snow was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for his injuries, then transported to the Pettis County Jail. He was also charged with violation of an ex parte on Tuesday afternoon.


 

Kristen Rose Edwards, 37, Sedalia, was arrested on charges of 4th degree Domestic Assault after Sedalia Police responded to the 1400 block of S. Carr at 2:52 a.m. Thursday morning. According to the report, a verbal argument became physical when the suspect grabbed the victim's bottom lip, and her nails cut into his lip and lower jaw gums. Edwards was taken to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police arrested a shoplifter as she was exiting Kohl's Department Store, 4300 Wisconsin Ave., around 11:30 Wednesday. Ciera C. Pirece, 26, Sedalia, admitted to the crime and was found with two shirts and a pair of jeans concealed on her, valued at $109. She was issued a Municipal summons and she now has a court date of June 21.


 

Matthew Morgan Thomas, 25, Sedalia, was arrested on a Benton County warrant after Sedalia Police stopped him for no vehicle registration at 4th and Lamine at 10:14 p.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $500 cash or surety bond.


 

Ahmad Jamal Dupree, 25, Sedalia, was arrested on three Pettis County warrants and one count of ID theft after Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance in the 1600 block of E. 7th just before 11 a.m. Wednesday. His total bond was $750.


 

Timothy Jerome Govero, 36, Windsor, was arrested at Main & Washington around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday for Driving While Revoked. Govera was transported to the Pettis County Jail. He now has a June 14 court date.


 

Yolanda D. Moya, 39, Sedalia, was arrested on a Municipal warrant  and for Driving While Suspended after Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a gray 2000 Buick Century at Main and Lamine  at 8:45 p.m. Monday. Moya was taken to the Pettis County Jail on an $88.50 bond. SHe has a court date of June 21.


 

Casey's General Store, 1601 E. Broadway, reported that someone stole four bottles of alcohol from a liquor cabinet in the store on Tuesday afternoon. A possible suspect was seen on surveillance video stealing the items, but they have not yet been identified at the time of the report.


 

On May 11, Wireless Express, 1708 W. Broadway, reported the theft of two iPhones from the store on May 9.


 

Blake Eugene Bennett, 28, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended and also on two Carroll County warrants Friday at Broadway & Griffith. His bond amounts were $350 for Carroll County and $2,500 for Pettis County, cash or surety.


 

Richard L. Craig, 47, was arrested on a Miller County probation violation near 13th and Ohio on Monday morning. Craig was taken to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.


 

On Tuesday at 2:53 a.m., a motorist reported to Sedalia Police that a heavy-set black male threw a heavy object at their car and broke out a window (valued at $500) in the area of Pettis and Mill. Investigation is ongoing.


 

On Tuesday, Todd Smith reported the theft of his lawnmower from a tool shed in the 2100 block of E. Broadway.


 

And Pettis County deputies took an identity theft report from Melissa M. Anstine of Hughesville on Wednesday afternoon.
