SPD crime reports 5-19-17

Sedalia Police arrested Terrell Antwon Robinson, 23, Sedalia, for 3rd degree Domestic Assault around 7 a.m. Thursday. The victim claimed she was assaulted by the father of her children earlier in the morning. Robinson was located and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released, pending the formal filing of state charges.


 

Sedalia Police took Cora L. Hathaway, 21, Sedalia, into custody at the Benton-Pettis County line on Thursday afternoon. Hathaway was wanted on a Municipal warrant. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Jonathan Stefen Gage, 21, Sedalia, was arrested for 2nd degree Domestic Assault after Sedalia Police responded to the 600 block of State Fair Blvd., on Thursday around 2 a.m. Gage was located and taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was held, pending the filing of formal charges.


 

On Wednesday afternoon, Racheal York, Sedalia, reported that someone entered her locked storage container and stole her Betty Boop collection, valued at $7,000, as well as several miscellaneous items. The theft occurred sometime between Sunday and Wednesday, according to the report.


 

Kimberly Sue Ballenger, 37, Sedalia, was arrested on a Pettis County warrant (for stealing) after Knob Noster police contacted the SPD and notified them of her location in the 400 block of E. 7th in Sedalia. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $1,500 bond, cash or surety.


 

Jordan Vernell Cunningham, 30, was arrested at 13th and Ingram Thursday morning after he was stopped for failing to stop his white Ford Taurus behind the white line at the intersection. A compuer check revealed that Cunningham was Driving While Revoked. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.


 

Jordan J. Fahrner, 24, Sedalia, was arrested for 3rd degree felony Domestic Assault in the 400 block of W. 4th on Wednesday afternoon. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of formal charges.


 

Amber D. Brandes, 21, Sedalia, was arrested on a Morgan County warrant after a traffic stop on a silver Grand Am at 16th and Kentucky around 10:30 Wednesday morning. Brandes was a passenger in the vehicle. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $300 cash bond.


 

Sedalia Police arrested Joseph Swisher, 28, Sedalia, for 4th degree Domestic Assault and Unlawful Use of a Weapon after officers responded to the 3300 block of S. Stewart on a disturbance with weapons Wednesday around 3 p.m. Swisher was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.


 

On Wednesday morning, the owner of Stone Laser Imaging reported that someone spray-painted his newly-painted wall of his business at 209 S. Ohio, causing $500 of damage. There are no suspects in the case.


 

Police took a report of a found bike in the 800 block of W. Broadway on Wednesday. The bike was a red Schwinn with a Cecil's Cyclery sticker on it.
