Michael D. Fox, II, 18, and Christian M.R. Boone, 20, both of Sedalia, were arrested for minor in possession of alcohol after a traffic stop by Sedalia Police for a brake light out at 7th and Missouri at 10:50 p.m. Saturday night. They now have a June 21 court date.


 

Bradley Scott Adams, 24, Houstonia, was arrested on a Pettis County warrant on Sunday evening. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $150 bond with a June 20 court date.


 

X-avier J. Zuniga, 23, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended after a traffic stop for expired plates near 32nd and Kentucky at 7:10 p.m. Friday night. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24 hour hold, pending the filing of state charges.


 

Sydney Sierra Long, 20, and Trevor Scott Baker, 21, both of Scott Joplin Court, were arrested on charges of 4th Degree Domestic Assault just after 8 p.m. June 3. Both were transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Melvin Leon Jones, II. Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended and Failure to Register with the DOR after Sedalia Police responded to Lowe's on a disturbance call at 3811 W. Broadway June 4. Jones was transported to the Pettis County Jail. where he was booked and released, pending the filing of state charges.


 

Gunner A. Saulbeamer, 17, Sedalia, was arrested on a Pettis County warrant June 3 in the 1300 block of S. Osage. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $50,000 cash or surety bond.


 

Radu B. Ciobanu, 25, Smithton, was arrested on five charges at 14th and Prospect June 2 at 8:12 p.m. He was charged with Driving While Revoked, Failure to Properly Display License Plates, Failure to Register with the DOR, No Proof of Insurance and on a Pettis County warrant. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $1500 cash or surety bond, where he was booked and released pending the filing of state charges.


 

Juan Miguel Marcos Herrera, 24, Sedalia, was arrested after a brief high-speed chase on West 16th Street just after midnight Monday. Officer Hesselbachen attempted to stop Herrera for speeding, but he refused to stop, traveling west on 16th from State Fair Blvd., to Thompson Blvd, reaching speeds of 75 miles per hour. He stopped his red car at 16th and Thompson, and the officer noticed a strong odor of intoxicants coming from the vehicle. Herrera did poorly on a field sobriety test, according to the report, and he was transported to the SPD, where he provided a breath sample that proved to be above the legal limit. He was then transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released, pending a court date.


 

Jason G. Figge, 36, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Improper Lane Usage after a traffic stop on a gray Ford pickup near JC Penney at 12:44 a.m. Saturday. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released, pending the filing of state charges.


 

William J. Parsons, 26, Sedalia, was arrested on a Pettis County warrant after a traffic stop for no license plates near Clinton Road and Driftwood at 7:42 p.m. Saturday night. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $150 cash or surety bond.


 

Brandon Scott Westpheling, 21, Otterville, was arrested on four Pettis County warrants after a traffic stop on a silver Ford Mustang for improper lane usage near 32nd and Limit at 8:20 p.m. Saturday night. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on bonds totaling $1,500 cash or surety and $450 cash. His court date was TBA.


 

Jordan L. Kemper, 24, Sedalia, was arrested after she turned herself into authorities at the SPD around 2 p.m. June 1. She was wanted on two Pettis County warrants. Kemper was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $160 bond. She now has a court date of June 20.


 

Angela Dawn Sanders, 31, Sedalia, was arrested for theft at 10 a.m. May 30 at the Sedalia Police Department after the victim bought a Samsung Galaxy S7 cell phone valued at $695 from her for $150. The suspect claims she bought the phone for less than that and suspected it was stolen, according to the report.


 

Angela D. Reyes, 37, Pleasant Hill, was arrested on a Municipal warrant and a Macon warrant after Sedalia Police responded to a motor vehicle accident at Arby's, 2701 W. Broadway, at 9:32 p.m. June 2. Reyes was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a total bond of $285. Her court date is July 5.


 

Anthony James Gassen, 30, Pettis County, was arrested for 2nd Degree Domestic Assault after Sedalia Police responded to a report of a bloodied man walking down the street in the 1300 block of E. Broadway around 9 p.m. June 4. According to the report, the victim said he was in a fight with his cousin. The victim was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center and the suspect was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24- hour hold, pending the filing of state charges.


 

Break Time, 808 E. Broadway, reported a gas drive-off involving a white Chevy Silverado on Sunday. The suspect pumped $42 of gas, then left without paying, traveling east on Broadway.


 

Zachary F. Dougan reported the theft of his motorcycle helmet from his bike while it was parked at the End Zone, 3129 W. Broadway, on Friday night around 9:30 p.m. According to the report, Dougan left his helmet sitting on the gas tank, and when he returned, the helmet, valued at $35, was gone.


 

Lekeya Chablis Dodson of Sedalia reported the theft of items valued at $350 from her vehicle overnight in the 900 block of South Osage, on Saturday morning.


 

Pedro Ramirez, Sedalia, reported the theft of four wheels with tires, valued at $1200, from his unsecured garage in the 700 block of State Fair Blvd., on June 1.


 

Leroy Dwane Schumaker, 20, Sedalia, was issued a Municipal summons for Animals Running at Large on May 21 in the 1900 block of E. 16th Street. He has a court date of June 22.


 

Police took a report involving a firearm that was found behind the caller's garage near the alley in the 600 block of E. 12th on Sunday morning. The weapon was taken into evidence until the owner can be determined.


 

On Saturday night, Serena Sundberg reported that her license plate was lost or stolen from the 1300 block of E. 3rd.


 

On Saturday afternoon, Terry L. Simmons reported the theft of four fencing panels from his backyard in the 1400 block of S. Harrison. The items were valued at $400. According to the report. the suspect is known to the victim.


 

On Saturday, Jessie D. Thornburg reported a hit-and-run accident that occurred in the 1000 block of W. 16th. According to the report, his car was sideswiped while parked on 16th, causing several hundred dollars' worth of damage.


 

On Saturday, Donna M. Fulcher reported a hit-and-run to police involving her 2014 Chevy, which was parked in the 1200 block of S. Kentucky at her residence. According to the report, there was damage to the driver's mirror and front fender. There are no suspects.


 

On Saturday, Rhonda K, Brookman and Nichole M. Kuhns, reported that someone entered their car overnight and stole items collectively valued at $250 in the 1700 block of South Vermont.


 

On Saturday morning, Richard A. Lybarger and Vickie J. Howery reported that someone damaged their vehicle, causing $800 in damage in the 1100 block of W. 4th. There are no suspects.


 

On Saturday morning, Alexandria Rutledge reported that someone entered her car and stole items valued at $250 in the 600 block of W. 23rd.


 

On Friday, Rest Haven Nursing Home, 1800 S. Ingram, reported that someone struck the east gutter of the building overnight and left  the scene.
