SPD crime reports 5-1-17

On Friday just after 5:30 p.m. Sedalia Police arrested Aaron Wayne Moore, 26, Pilot Grove, after a traffic stop at 7th and Moniteau after an officer observed Moore leave the roadway and drive on the sidewalk to pull into a private drive, rather than use the nearby traffic entrance. A computer check revealed that Moore was wanted on two Cooper County warrants ($2,000 and $2,500) and also on a $5,000 Pettis County warrant. Moore was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold pending the filing of state charges. The report also noted that the officer's body cam activated during the incident.


 

Robert Benjamin Wallen, 30, Sedalia, was arrested for 3rd degree felony Domestic Assault after Sedalia Police responded to a report of domestic assault in the 2000 block of E. 10th Sunday afternoon around 4:45 p.m. The victim claims the suspect slapped them in the face and neck. Wallen was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.


 

Gaylon E. Marshall, 45, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended after a traffic stop for failure to stop at a stop sign at 7th and Osage at 3:03 a.m. Sunday. Marshall was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was was released with no bond. He now has a May 31 court date.


 

Jessica D. Brown, 28, Sedalia, was arrested for assault after Sedalia Police responded to a report of an assault at the Sedalia Wal-Mart, 3201 W. Broadway, at 2:11 a.m. Sunday. The victim had minor injuries to her lip, according to the report. Brown was later released on summons.


 

Victoria Renna Williams, 33, Sedalia, was arrested at 7:38 p.m. after Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance in the 1600 block of S. Osage. Williams was charged with felony failure to appear warrant. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Veronica N. Muth, 24, Sedalia, was arrested for failure to appear on a stealing charge in the 200 block of W. Broadway, at 7:41 p.m. Sunday night. Muth was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $1,500 cash or surety bond. Her court date is to be determined.


 

Jerri D. Jackson, 19, Pettis County, was arrested at 20th and Kentucky at 2:51 a.m. Saturday on a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant after a traffic stop. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $150 cash bond.


 

Antonio Javon Macon, 28, Sedalia, was arrested on a Pettis County warrant (DWI & DWR) at 7:32 p.m. Sunday. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $2,500 cash or surety bond. His court date is to be determined.


 

Rhonda K. Brookman, 48, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Revoked after Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a silver Toyota SUV at 18th and Vermont for expired plates at 11:46 Friday night. Brookman was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where she was booked and released. Her court date was to be determined.
